This book was purchased for my sister and it had been in a bookshelf for a long time, but I didn’t feel like to read it.

When I read it, I found it so interesting that I bought the series one after another.
I was very sad to see the series come to an end.

The illustrations are wonderful. They are full of magic and convey the world of the story in its entirety.

A stylish nanny with straight face comes along and goes away with the wind.
It was a fresh experience to see a character of nanny who was not excessively kind or overtly affectionate.

Mary Poppins is always gone at the end of the book. It is seasonal, finite, and could not be with you forever. That taught harsh principle of life.

But I read the book now and understand that the book describes that Mary Poppins is eternally with you.

That stepping into a magical world from day-to-day life. I hope that, even as an adult, there are days when that kind of magic might unexpectedly happen.
